Types of solar systems

All our Solar Panels are manufactured in South Africa to the Highest quality standards.

Smart Meter Dashboard

Grid Tied System

System which links to the mains to feed excess capacity back to the local mains electrical grid. When insufficient electricity is generated, or the batteries are not fully charged, electricity drawn from the mains grid can make up the shortfall.

Off Grid System

System which is completely off the electrical grid and only uses stored energy.

Hybrid System

Draws electricity from solar panels during the day when energy is being generated and at night electricity is drawn from the mains.

Optimise first

Solar Power is very much a viable alternative to fossil fuels. The big problem is that very few companies know how to implement it properly. Optimising an installation so that it is ready for solar is the first piece of the puzzle. The other side of the coin is that a company wanting to use solar as an investment also needs sufficient usage of the system to warrant the investment and to realise a feasible return.

Solar as an investment

  • Our system is designed to have a life expectancy of 20 years
  • The system pays for itself within 6 years
  • Our system has guaranteed usage income as it is a clustered system, not an individual system per unit.
  • Our ROI is calculated on an Eskom tariff increase of 8% per annum. This is extremely conservative as they are currently requesting an increase between 14% to 24% year on year.
  • The higher the local supplier's tariff increase is, the shorter our ROI period becomes.
  • Marketing Value - Green installation, no Loadshedding, lower carbon footprint, possibly offering power at a reduced rate compared to supplier.
